Today was our first day at Samui Institute of Thai Culinary Arts and wow, I learned a lot! The class was so exciting, because we were learning about all these different vegetables, peppers and Thai cooking traditions. What made the class even better was our instructor, Ink, she was so positive and patient with us all. Ink was especially patient with me, as my knife skills aren't as good as the ACE-IT students. But, I can bet you that my knife skills will be improved drastically by the end of the week, as I'll be able to practice and learn many differnt techniques in the cooking classes. Despite that, I believe that everything else I did went well as the food I made was delicious!
I am so excited to return to the school tomorrow and learn some new Thai dishes! I'll be sure to blog about what we make as my knife skills improves!
