...while excitement has been simmering over the last few weeks as we near departure, today I witnessed it come to a rolling boil!
Our usual busy day of instruction, food prep and service was interspersed with talk about what to pack, how to get to the airport, elephant treks, jungle tours, natural waterfalls, Thai traditions and snake phobias! Even the students not joining us were getting involved in our trip planning!
There was definitely more than the usual amount of chatter and smiles : ) in our kitchen today which warms my heart.
