First day at SITCA

No words can explain how excited I was to go cook my very first Thai meal. We got in and headed upstairs to a more private kitchen. Our instructor's name was Ink, she's amazing, patient, kind, and passionate. Actually there's not enough virtues to describe her, truly an amazing person. People in SITCA are extremely nice as well. They gave us unlimited amount of Thai Iced Tea something that I would like to make at home.

When we started grinding our spices and peppers, Ink specifically said be careful becuase it can splash into our eyes. Guess who got pepper juice in their eye.... CHEF, only he would. The funny part is that during the lesson, when we were cutting peppers chef said to me "Vincent, there's something on your eyes," trying to get me to rub my eyes so I can suffer along with him. Almost fell for it until Sylvia was like "DON'T DO IT" oh man imagine if I actually rubbed my eyes!

Can't wait for the next lesson :)

Vincent
