Hello everybody!
A few things we all need to know before we head out to Thailand. If you don't want all your expensive electronics to blow up on you when you charge it or use it, you'll need a volt converter. In Thailand, the voltage is 220v while here in Canada, it is 110v. So unless you want to see fireworks inside your hotel room, I suggest you all to buy, borrow, find a voltage converter that converts from 220v to 110v. Also make sure the prongs on converters fit the plug in Thailand. They're two rods instead of two flat metals like the ones we have here. The pictures below will show you. If any of you want to buy a set of converters, Walmart has a set for about $20. If you are a regular overseas traveler, I recommend you buy the package in Walmart. Read more about the electricity in Thailand, link will be at the bottom.
